The Society's Name ChangedOffice of Foerderkreis Kenia Freudenstadt e.V., Germany. September 2015. Dear visitors of our web site: we would like to inform you that there was a small but important change of the official name of our society. There also being societies with a similar name in other cities, we decided to officially include the town we are registered in into the society's name. Before this change took place, we just added "Freudenstadt" to our name. From now on, the society's name reads as follows:Foerderkreis Kenia Freudenstadt e.V.This change does not affect any of the projects sponsored and we would be glad if you would continue to stop by at our site and assist us in doing our work in Africa. |

Africa Fest 2015 — Concise Flashback Africa Fest 2015: Society's café-and-information tent => Additional images coming soon! Agenda 2015Wednesday, February 11, 2015 through Thursday, February 26, 2015; Kenya:INVITATION TO OUR 2015 PROJECT TRIP TO KENYA. In February 2015, society members and interested individuals may participate in our annual project trip to Kenya where we will visit some of the projects sponsored by our society. Details on how to participate are available at the society's main office. Please note that this is a private endeavour with all travel costs being paid by those joining in (nothing paid by the society). Registration deadline: December 15, 2014. Saturday, April 18, 2015, starting 7:30 p.m., venue: Spa and Congress Building, 5 Lauterbadstrasse, 72250 Freudenstadt: CHARITY CONCERT: A charity concert with African dance and music groups will take place Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the Spa and Congress Building, Freudenstadt. Donations will be used to support our society's work in Kenya. All interested to join in are welcome! Saturday, June 27, 2015; Freudenstadt: 15th FREUDENSTADT AFRICA FESTIVAL Our society will participate with its annual café-and-information tent presenting the society's projects and handing out information on how to participate in our work and showing how you can sponsor our projects. Venue: the society's café-and-information tent will be set up right at the Protestant Church (Freudenstadt's Lower Marketplace). Program: Time: 11:30 am through 6pm: Photo exhibition on the society's projects at the café-and-information tent where you may sponsor our work by having German sausages, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee, cakes and pies. All money paid for food and beverages will be used on our projects. Time: 3pm: Venue: Parish building, 36 Marktplatz (market place): Presentation on our society's members latest trip to Kenya. All persons attending are requested to donate for helping finance our projects in Kenya. Time: 6 p.m.: Venue: Protestant Town Church, Freudenstadt: Service for Africa: At 6 p.m. visitors are invited to attend the Protestant Town Church's evening service with participation of our society's team members. Donations will be used for sponsoring the society's charity projects in Kenya. November 2015 (date will be published on this site): ANNUAL MEETING of the society's members (members will receive all necessary details beforehand, including meeting place directions and the agenda). |
